Privacy Policy

This site is static HTML on a server in Germany. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no fonts or scripts from third parties. It has no registration, no newsletter, no contact form and no comment function, so it collects no data that you type in.

Controller

The controller for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the operator of this website: Michael Wutzke, Frankfurt, Germany. Questions about data protection reach him through the contact page.

What the server logs

The web server collects general data when a person or an automated system calls up the website, and stores it in its log files: the browser type and version, the operating system, the referring page, the pages called up, the date and time of access, and the IP address. The operator draws no conclusions about a person from this data. It is needed to deliver the pages correctly, to keep the server running, and to give law enforcement the necessary information after an attack.

The server keeps these access logs for 14 days for security purposes and deletes them afterward. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure operation of the website.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access (Article 15), the right to rectification (Article 16), the right to erasure (Article 17), the right to restriction of processing (Article 18), the right to data portability (Article 20) and the right to object (Article 21). You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

The operator does not use automated decision-making or profiling.
