In the spring of 2022, I launched a community on the subject of enterprise blockchain in Frankfurt. Especially as the corona pandemic was waning, I wanted to make a statement and give networking a boost again.
After a few dozen people had shown interest in the blockchain meetup, organizing the first meetup was on the agenda. At the same time I was in contact with Marcel Grimm, Lucas Daniel Schmitt, and Marc Anders, who also wanted to start a blockchain meetup in Frankfurt in a similar way. Without further ado, we decided to join forces and organize the meetups together from then on: the idea for a combined DeFi event series in Frankfurt was born.
It's wonderful to exchange ideas with so many like-minded people.
Frankfurt blockchain community
The idea for the blockchain events is that we bring people and organizations together on site in Frankfurt to network, exchange experience, and learn. For this reason, there will be no online streaming or recording of the presentations. At the blockchain events you can make exciting contacts, and drinks and food are offered free of charge. Sponsorship (food, drinks) is provided by companies presenting at an event and by TechQuartier (space, billing). All previous blockchain meetups have taken place at TechQuartier Frankfurt.

Within a few months, the team of organizers met with great interest from the participants. Because of its great success, the event series eventually became the blockchain ecosystem Finance Loop.
After the meetups some participants meet for networking, for example at the NFT Skybar.
Future outlook
In 2025, due to the great success of the event series, I founded the blockchain ecosystem Finance Loop. In 2025, more than 16 events were held with the participation of well-known brands from the fintech and banking sector.
