AI in the city and county of Offenbach

At the annual reception 2026 of IHK Offenbach, under the motto “WissensWerte”, about 300 guests heard Prof. Isabell Welpe of TU Munich on the influence of AI on productivity, employment and management. Representatives of three companies from the county of Offenbach showed how people and AI work together in their firms (IHK Offenbach).

In a firm of a few dozen staff, AI tends to arrive through single people. One colleague drafts letters with ChatGPT at home, and another has been told not to. What is missing is a day on which someone tries AI on the firm’s own work, with the people who do it, and writes down what may go into which tool. I bring that day to your office.

Your first AI day on site

After the order, the work starts with a day at your office in Offenbach or a town of the county. This is the plan I bring, and we adjust it in the video call before.

A task can stop at the end of the day. That is a result too: the firm knows it before it has bought licenses for a whole department.

Who I am

I am Michael Wutzke, and I live in Frankfurt. I have written articles in German for Offenbacher Wirtschaft, the magazine of IHK Offenbach, and for Der Bank Blog. I was Head of Decentralized Finance and Node Operations, then Chief Information Officer, at the Frankfurt-based company Blocksize Capital, where I led business-critical teams. Earlier I built web portals for life insurance at Policen Direkt.
