Why companies train their teams on Claude

In the German Mittelstand, 20 percent of companies used AI in 2022 to 2024, and 36 percent of those with 50 or more employees (KfW Research, February 2026). KfW finds that AI use goes with in-house expertise. A license alone does not change how a team works; the team has to learn which tasks Claude can take over and how to check what it returns.

What a Claude training covers

The content follows your team’s tasks. These are the parts I teach most often:

• Chats and projects: a project holds your company’s documents and instructions, so each chat starts with the right context.
• Instructions that give repeatable results, and how to check a result before it leaves the team.
• Skills: written procedures that Claude loads when a task matches, such as a style guide for your company’s texts.
• Connectors to company systems through MCP servers. Building MCP servers is my own focus at Claude Hacker House.
• For developers: Claude as coding agent under rules, with limits, checks before each tool call and approvals that only a person gives. The method is described on AI agents under the same rules as humans.

Online or at your office

An online training runs by video. It suits teams spread across several offices or working from home, and it splits into shorter sessions more easily.

An on-site training runs at your office in Rhine-Main. Participants work on their own laptops with your company’s accounts, and the exercises use your documents. Questions about your own processes come up faster in the room.

Checklist before your team’s first Claude training

1. Which Claude plan does your company use, and who administers it?
2. Which data may staff enter, and which not? Ask your data protection officer.
3. Which three to five tasks does the team do every week that involve text, documents or data?
4. Which documents may serve as exercise material?
5. Does every participant have an account before the training starts?
6. Are developers among the participants who need their own session?
7. Who in the team collects questions after the training?

Who I am

I am Michael Wutzke, an IT architect for data platforms in Frankfurt with more than twenty years in IT and media. I teach at Claude Hacker House; one session took place in Frankfurt on August 20, 2026. I am also interested in open-source AI models that a company runs on its own servers. I hold a training authorization from IHK Frankfurt for two IT apprenticeships, and I take part in Claude Certified Architect Foundations, Anthropic’s first certification program.
