ChatGPT and Codex training for trade and logistics companies in Hamburg

Many languages, many systems

A trading or logistics company in Hamburg writes to suppliers, carriers and customers in several languages. If your staff already paste emails into ChatGPT to translate them, the risk sits in the details: an order number changed in translation, a delivery date in the wrong format, a polite German phrase that reads as rude in English.

The developers look after the shop and the interfaces to the ERP, to carriers, to marketplaces and to payment providers. A change in this code can stop orders from coming in. Codex can take over routine changes here, and it needs limits that keep it away from live partner systems.

The ChatGPT track: correspondence in several languages

• A project per partner group that holds your product names and the tone your company uses with them.

• A check before a text goes out: numbers, dates and names against the source.

The Codex track: shop and integration code

• An AGENTS.md that names the interfaces and the live systems Codex must not call.
• Tests against recorded responses of carriers, marketplaces and payment providers.
• Keys for the test systems only; production secrets stay out of the agent’s reach.
• Mapping tables and data formats: Codex changes them together with a test that shows the old and the new output.

Who I am

I am Michael Wutzke, an IT architect for data platforms in Frankfurt.
