Why firms in Hamburg write with Claude

A trading house or a forwarder in Hamburg answers customers and partners in several languages: an inquiry from Rotterdam, an offer to Gdańsk, a delay notice to Shanghai. Each letter has to carry the right price, the right date and the company’s terms. Media firms write the same announcement in German and English. Claude drafts such letters in the customer’s language when it has your facts, your terms and your tone. The training teaches your team to hand over all three and to check the draft before it goes out.

What a Claude training in Hamburg covers

The content follows the letters your team writes. The parts for trade, logistics and media teams:

• A project per market: your delivery terms, Incoterms clauses, product names and a few model letters in the language of that market.
• Offers from an inquiry: Claude reads the customer’s request, lists items, quantities and open questions, and drafts the offer from your template. A person sets the price.
• Translation with a glossary: product names and fixed terms stay as your company writes them, in every language.
• Replies to complaints and delay notices in the customer’s language and in your company’s tone.
• For media teams: one press release in German and English, with a short version for the newsletter.

One inquiry, four letters: who does what

This exercise follows one customer inquiry through four letters in three languages. Claude drafts each letter from the one before it.

Online from Frankfurt, or on site in Hamburg

The training runs by video or at your office. Video suits firms with branches in Hamburg, Lübeck and Kiel, and colleagues who cannot leave the warehouse or the terminal for a whole day. For an on-site day I travel from Frankfurt. Participants work on their own laptops with your company’s Claude accounts, so the project they build stays in use after the session.

Who I am

I am Michael Wutzke, an IT architect for data platforms in Frankfurt with more than twenty years in IT and media. At Valentins, then part of Burda Digital, I led projects and programmed at least five online shops, among them shops for Lidl and REWE, and ran their conversion optimization. I am a lecturer at Claude Hacker House, and I am interested in open-source AI models that a company runs on its own servers. I hold a training authorization from IHK Frankfurt for two IT apprenticeships, and I take part in Claude Certified Architect Foundations, the first certification program of Anthropic.
