I am Michael Wutzke from Frankfurt. At a Frankfurt fintech I helped build communities around smart contracts and market data as a Chainlink supporter, onboarded the cooperation partners that came with institutional customers, and created the legal framework of a partner program. Ecosystem experience
I design partner programs and events and challenge partnerships that exist only on a slide. My work served professionals from banking, blockchain and regulation who did not know where to find the right partner.

Community
Finance Loop, which I co-founded, grew out of the Frankfurt Blockchain Meetup. It has more than 4,000 members and has worked with Frankfurt Main Finance, Chainlink and OKX Institutional.

Chainlink panel
In April 2024 I organized a Chainlink panel in Frankfurt as pre-event to the Crypto Assets Conference. Chainlink was the oracle network whose node operator I worked for.

Committee seat
On the Product Advisory Committee of the Digital Token Identifier Foundation, my part is to bring its identifiers to companies in Germany and other countries through my network.

Conferences
I have attended more than 250 blockchain events, SmartCon in New York City and Paris Blockchain Week among them. I work remote from Frankfurt and travel to them.
What a Head of Partnerships and Ecosystem does
A Head of Partnerships and Ecosystem wins the partners and communities a product depends on and keeps them working with it, from the first contact to a signed agreement and a live integration. Web3 job ads add relationships with validators and infrastructure providers. I did this work from 2022 at the Frankfurt-based company Blocksize Capital, first as Head of Decentralized Finance and Node Operations, then as Chief Information Officer.
Talks at the Frankfurt Blockchain Meetup, newest first
In spring 2022 I started the Frankfurt Blockchain Meetup together with three colleagues from Frankfurt. Each evening had a partner company on stage. The presenting companies sponsored food and drinks, and TechQuartier gave the space. The table lists the talks that carry a date on this site.

Bitwise Asset Management and CoreLedger spoke in the series as well, on Bitcoin and on the digitization of real-world assets. The series grew into Finance Loop, which held more than 16 events in 2025.

- May 2024: expert member of the Product Advisory Committee of the Digital Token Identifier Foundation.
- 2024: member of the Bitcoin Bundesverband from its founding at the German Parliament in Berlin.
- 2023: the legal framework of the partner program at Blocksize Capital, as Chief Information Officer.

I am Michael Wutzke. I have worked in IT and media for more than twenty years. On Supporting people I describe why I see leaders as networkers: to bring people together, I have to know who has which skills and who works best with whom. I work in German and English, and I write about digital assets for the business magazine Business Punk. I am also interested in open-source AI models that a company runs on its own servers.

Questions companies ask
What is the difference between partnerships and ecosystem?
Partnerships are the agreements with single companies. The ecosystem is everyone who builds on or around the product, from developers and validators to communities, with the partners among them.
How did the Frankfurt meetups grow?
From a first meetup in spring 2022, after a few dozen people had shown interest, to a series at TechQuartier with talks by companies such as DZ Bank and Chainlink. Out of it grew the community Finance Loop, which held more than 16 events in 2025.
Have you run a partner program?
Yes, on the legal side: in 2023 I created and updated the framework of a partner program in which partners earn by recommending a company's services to third parties. I also onboarded the cooperation partners that came with institutional customers.
Which engagements do you take on?
I support companies as a freelancer or as a permanent employee. As Head of Partnerships and Ecosystem for companies across Europe I work remote for the most part, with on-site days in Frankfurt Rhine-Main and travel to events. I live in Frankfurt, Germany. Interim engagements are possible as well.
